Little Zak's Academy is privately owned and family run. Our aim is to provide early childhood care and education in a safe, welcoming, adopting and nurturing environment.

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in our Rhodes service.

Rotating rosters to support work life balance
Competitive remuneration depending on your qualification and experience (between $75,000 to $100,000 per annum depending on experience and award classification)
Up to 50 percent staff childcare discount
Paid wellbeing day each year for permanent staff (after 12 months)
Health and wellness allowance reimbursing up to $50 per month (gym, pool, wellness memberships)
$1,000 employee referral bonus for each successful referral

About the role:

Ensure learning and development is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
Create a stimulating and positive environment for the children
Write observations and analyse children's progression and development
Provide support and assistance to other staff members
Monitor staff interactions to ensure they are in line with the EYLF
Develop strong relationships with children, and effectively communicate with parents and carers

About you:

ACECQA Approved Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
Current Working with Children Check
Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
NESA Accreditation - Provisional or Proficient
Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
Strong computer skills
Current approved First Aid Certificate
Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
