Senior DevOps Engineer

The opportunity

As our Senior DevOps Engineer you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintenance of scalable deployment patterns across a wide range of cloud and on prem technology stacks. Focus on high-performance applications, complex data systems, and integration of multiple enterprise platforms.

This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

Implement CI/CD and automation using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet
Support containerized environments and deployments
Proficient with Docker, containerization, and onprem and cloud-native deployment patterns.
Experience in building, managing, updating docker and deploying docker images.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps.
Should have strong experience writing yaml build and release pipelines, optimize existing pipelines.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments, and application monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support for production systems
Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)

Skills and attributes for success

Core Tech Stack:

Azure / AWS
Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Azure DevOps
Docker, Docker Swarm / containerization tools
Shell scripting, Powershell
REST APIs and microservices
