Full Job Description

GLA Labour Group is looking for a full-time Massage Therapist to join Soothe Massage & Day Spa in Nedlands WA. As part of our award‑winning spa team, you will contribute to an environment that embodies exceptional service, elevated wellbeing, and unforgettable guest experiences.

Successful applicant is expected to act as a Massage Therapist, with the following duties:

Conduct client consultations to assess medical history, presenting symptoms, soft tissue condition, muscle tension, joint mobility, posture and range of movement prior to treatment.
Assess clients' soft tissue condition, muscle strength, joint function and range of motion to determine appropriate therapeutic massage techniques.
Develop individual treatment plans and select appropriate massage techniques to assist in relieving muscular pain, improving mobility, supporting rehabilitation and promoting overall wellbeing.
Perform a range of therapeutic massage treatments, including deep tissue, remedial, sports and relaxation massage, using appropriate manual techniques.
Apply pressure to specific muscles, tendons and soft tissues to reduce pain, improve circulation, relieve muscular tension and enhance physical function.
Prepare and apply massage oils, creams and therapeutic products appropriate to clients' treatment requirements.
Maintain accurate client treatment records, monitor treatment outcomes and adjust treatment plans where appropriate.
Provide clients with advice on posture, stretching, strengthening, relaxation techniques and home care exercises to support ongoing recovery and injury prevention.
Refer clients to suitably qualified health professionals where symptoms fall outside the scope of massage therapy or where further assessment is required.
Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic treatment environment and ensure all equipment and materials comply with workplace health and safety requirements.

Salary: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
