Chef / Cook Wanted – Italian Restaurant

We are a busy Italian restaurant seeking a motivated and passionate Chef/Cook to join our team.

Position: Chef / Cook

About the Role

You will assist in preparing and cooking authentic Italian dishes, maintaining food quality standards, and working as part of a professional kitchen team.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of kitchen or chef experience, preferably in an Italian restaurant, OR
Currently studying Commercial Cookery and holding a valid Student Visa
Passion for food and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Assist with food preparation and kitchen organisation
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
