Full Job Description

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Domestic Assistance Support Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide in-home support to NDIS participants, helping them maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment while promoting their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing.
Assist with laundry, ironing, and changing bed linens.
Support participants with meal preparation and basic kitchen cleaning.
Organize and tidy living spaces to maintain a safe environment.
Dispose of household waste and maintain cleanliness standards.
Follow participants' individual support plans and preferences.
Maintain accurate documentation and report any concerns to the care coordinator.
Build respectful and professional relationships with participants while encouraging their independence.

Essential Requirements:

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
Current Working with Children Check (where applicable).
Valid National Police Check.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Valid driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
Current COVID-19 and other required vaccinations (if applicable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A caring, respectful, and person-centred approach.

Desirable Qualifications:

Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services, or a related qualification.
Previous experience in domestic assistance, disability support, aged care, or community services.
Experience supporting people with disabilities under the NDIS.
