About Zen Dental Studio

Zen Dental Studio is a modern dental practice located in Bridgeman Downs, Brisbane. We provide a broad range of general, restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry and are continuing to grow our clinical and technical capabilities.

We are seeking a skilled, reliable and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our team in a full-time, ongoing position.

This role provides an opportunity to work closely with our dentists and clinical team in a modern dental environment, contributing directly to the design, fabrication, modification and finishing of high-quality dental restorations and appliances.

About the Role

As our Dental Technician, you will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to ensure dental appliances and restorations are produced accurately, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

Creating dental models from conventional impressions and digital records.
Designing, constructing, modifying and repairing crowns, bridges, dentures, retainers, splints, mouthguards and other dental appliances.
Fabricating and finishing dental restorations using ceramic, acrylic, metal and other appropriate dental materials.
Using CAD/CAM systems, digital scanners and other dental laboratory equipment.
Interpreting dental prescriptions, impressions, digital scans and technical instructions.
Inspecting, adjusting, polishing and finishing dental appliances and restorations to ensure appropriate accuracy, fit, function and quality.
Working collaboratively with dentists to meet individual clinical requirements and treatment schedules.
Maintaining laboratory equipment and appropriate laboratory records.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe laboratory environment.
Following infection control, workplace health and safety, and quality assurance procedures.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this position, you should have:

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Dental Technician.
Strong technical and manual skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Knowledge of dental materials, dental appliances and laboratory procedures.
Ability to interpret dental prescriptions and technical instructions accurately.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a clinical team.
A professional, reliable and quality-focused approach to your work.

Experience with digital dentistry, CAD/CAM workflows and dental scanning technology will be highly regarded.
