We are seeking a creative, organised and commercially minded Marketing Assistant to join the Sales & Marketing team at Andaz Gold Coast.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, with a dotted line to the Marketing Specialist, this role supports the delivery of integrated marketing activity across the hotel, accommodation, wellness experiences and four distinctive food and beverage venues.

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging marketing professional who enjoys balancing creativity with coordination, digital content with commercial outcomes, and big ideas with thoughtful execution.

The opportunity

As Marketing Assistant, you will help bring the Andaz Gold Coast story to life across campaigns, social media, public relations, partnerships, events and digital platforms.

No two days will look the same. You may be coordinating a content shoot, preparing a creative brief, launching a seasonal dining campaign, hosting an influencer visit, updating digital channels or supporting a hotel activation.

You will work closely with colleagues across the hotel to deliver marketing initiatives that build awareness, strengthen guest engagement and drive revenue.

What you will do

Marketing and brand execution

Support the delivery of the annual marketing and communications strategy across accommodation, wellness and food and beverage.
Coordinate integrated campaigns designed to increase awareness, consideration, engagement and revenue.
Assist with seasonal campaigns, brand activations, promotions and new product launches.
Manage campaign timelines, creative assets and stakeholder communication.
Ensure all activity reflects Hyatt and Andaz brand standards and the hotel’s distinctive luxury lifestyle positioning.

Content and creative

Create and curate engaging photography, video and written content.
Develop content calendars and deliver social-first storytelling across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
Coordinate content shoots, including shot lists, talent, suppliers and post-production requirements.
Prepare creative briefs and support the production of collateral, signage, menus, promotional materials and digital assets.
Maintain an organised and current library of photography, videography and brand assets.

Social media and community management

Manage the day-to-day execution of Andaz Gold Coast’s social media channels.
Create, schedule, publish and monitor content that builds community and brand awareness.
Respond to enquiries and online conversations in a timely and brand-appropriate way.
Track performance and prepare reports with insights and recommendations.
Support paid social activity through campaign and asset coordination.

Food and beverage marketing

Support marketing for the hotel’s four food and beverage venues.
Coordinate menu launches, seasonal promotions, signature events and venue campaigns.
Partner with venue leadership to identify opportunities that drive patronage, reservations and visibility.
Coordinate photography, promotional materials, content and digital updates.

Public relations, media and influencers

Support public relations activity across luxury travel, lifestyle, food and business media.
Coordinate media stays, press visits, photo shoots and familiarisation programs.
Build relationships with journalists, content creators, influencers and key opinion leaders.
Manage influencer partnerships from briefing through to content delivery and reporting.
Assist with media releases, media kits, award submissions and PR reporting.
Monitor coverage and maintain an accurate media database.

Partnerships, events and experiences

Support strategic partnerships, sponsorships and brand collaborations.
Assist in identifying opportunities with premium brands, tourism partners, local businesses and cultural organisations.
Coordinate hotel events, restaurant launches, VIP experiences and community activations.
Represent Andaz Gold Coast at events when required.
Coordinate event collateral, guest communication, photography and post-event reporting.

Digital platforms and administration

Maintain content across the hotel website, Hyatt Brand Manager and approved digital platforms.
Coordinate updates to online travel agencies, listings, partner websites and brand assets.
Monitor campaign and website performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support budgets, purchase orders, invoices, expenses and supplier payments.
Maintain marketing calendars, campaign trackers, reports and asset libraries.
Coordinate media, influencer, partner and complimentary accommodation requests.
Provide presentation, travel and administrative support to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications

About you

You are curious, proactive and highly organised, with a genuine interest in luxury hospitality, lifestyle, food and beverage, travel or destination marketing.

You will bring:

Previous experience in a marketing, communications, social media or administrative role.
Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
A confident understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time management.
The ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines.
A collaborative approach and confidence working with a variety of stakeholders.
An interest in photography, video, design, digital marketing, events or public relations.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing supports revenue.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms.
Flexibility to attend shoots, activations and events outside standard business hours when required.

Experience within hospitality, tourism, luxury, lifestyle or food and beverage marketing will be highly regarded.
