Northern Star Resources currently has a rare senior opportunity for a Mine Superintendent to join the team at our Jundee Operations, working an ongoing 8/6 roster, on a permanent & full-time basis. Working in the Underground Mining division, this opportunity will suit a high‑performing mining professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about leading operational excellence.

Here’s what awaits you:

Assign tasks and resources to the shift supervisors whilst guiding and supporting them in the supervision of the underground mining operation
Develop, implement and maintain safe work procedures and promote high safety awareness.
Oversee underground mining operations ensuring the principle of a duty of care to all employees, including contractors and visitors.
Ensure robust production reporting, reconciliation, and improvement evaluation processes.
Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all activities are conducted to achieve lowest cost production.
Assist in capital project planning, budgeting, and delivery.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience:
Proven expertise in underground development and production within a mechanised hard-rock mining environment. Skilled in supervising mining operations teams and backed by extensive knowledge of contractor management.

Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a current WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate of Competency and a valid WA C-Class Driver's License.
