Saints College is a school of the Edmund Rice Education Australia Victorian Schools Ltd. Since 2012, we have led that way in radically inclusive education, by providing a safe, inclusive, and flexible learning environment for young people who have experienced barriers to accessing mainstream education. We offer a full-time, multi-year secondary education program designed to meet the diverse learning needs of young people. Our campuses offer tailored programs that integrate wellbeing and education, ensuring young people receive the individualised support they need to thrive. We work closely with families, community organisations, and support services to provide wraparound support that addresses both educational and personal development needs.
Our Young People
Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, environmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices.
We recognise that each young person’s journey is unique. Our staff are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and empowering learning environment where young people can develop confidence, reconnect with education, and work towards their goals.
The Role
The Victorian Curriculum and Programs Manager provides leadership and coordination of all 7–10 curriculum programs across the College. The role ensures the delivery of a consistent, high-quality, and data-informed curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and the Saints College’s Instructional Model. It includes oversight of assessment processes such as NAPLAN and PAT testing, professional learning in curriculum design and pedagogy, and leadership of whole-school planning for junior and intermediate programs.
You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing as soon as possible, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
The role is classified as a Teacher with a salary range of $79,589 to $118,063, plus a fixed-term Position of Leadership 4 allowance + additional allowance (for up to 5 years). Salary is dependent on education and experience.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the potential to work from home one day per week, subject to operational and campus requirements.
You will need

Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty

Tertiary Qualification in Education and/or equivalent experience

Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration

Demonstrated leadership in Victorian Curriculum design, assessment, and implementation.

Strong understanding of data analysis tools and processes, including NAPLAN, PAT, and formative assessment.

Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
-
Proven ability to lead professional learning and build collaborative, data-informed teaching teams.

Commitment to inclusive, evidence-based practice and the College’s applied learning philosophy

Strong Interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with a range of people

Experience in supporting young people with disability and/or neurodivergence

The ability to inspire and engage young people with learning activities

Be willing to support young people and our team members to reach their potential
