About the role
The Manager - Administrative Services will provide high-level leadership and facilitate the development of strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure the effective coordination of administrative functions, supporting multidisciplinary service delivery across the organisation. The role provides operational and strategic advice to management and employees on a wide range of policies, processes, systems, and legislation. The incumbent will support the Director/s in providing the link between, and strategic interface with the Division, WCHN, and SA Health
Key duties of the role
Provide effective management of human resources and financial services.
Managing the Division’s physical resources by collaborating with key stakeholders and providing high-level expert advice and recommendations to Director
Contribute to the strategic directions by ensuring that all contentious and emerging issues are identified, managed, and brought to the attention of the Director/s
Provide executive support through effective correspondence, documentation, records management, and communication coordination.
Provide leadership and support to administrative staff through performance management, training coordination, and management of employee-related matters.
Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in administrative management and leadership roles.
Demonstrated experience managing, developing, and supporting staff to achieve organisational outcomes.
Strong knowledge of South Australian public health systems and health service operations.
Proven ability to manage complex issues, change, and workplace matters with discretion and confidentiality.
Demonstrated high-level communication, negotiation, and Microsoft Office skills.
