In this role, you'll:
Work on project initiatives to deliver Lifts and Escalators replacement works at Sydney Train stations within our Facilities & Delivery Infrastructure team who are part of the Suburban Services Branch of Sydney Trains.
This role will see you work on multiple maintenance upgrade project streams across the Transport Cluster mainly on Lift and Escalator replacements, but also other projects requiring support in and around the stations such as resurfacing, reroofing and foot bridge refurbishments.
You will be involved in supporting Lift and Escalator Lead Project Managers with their delivery of Suburban Services Projects, which will include developing, designing and delivering systems for the Lift and Escalator replacement Portfolio. You will work on Project approvals and project handovers that will include submission of as-built documents and asset registers.
In this technical role, you will coordinate and communicate with Stakeholders that will include the asset owners, asset maintainers, contractors and the product owner. You will have Excellent communication skills to manage, plan and coordinate project works with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a Temporary Full-Time role based in Burwood with flexibility through the Sydney Trains hybrid working model

About you
You will have tertiary qualifications in engineering, ideally Civil or mechanical with construction industry experience.
Your project engineering experience will include full life cycle exposure ideally in a rail environment.
You should be able to demonstrate engineering support including functional specification development, design coordination, safety in design, constructability reviews.
You have high levels of attention to detail and a track record of providing engineering support within rail and/or other civil projects.
You’re a trusted professional who enjoys building lasting and respectful relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
You will have highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
You can work to tight deadlines, you are comfortable following process and procedure even around competing demands of a changing business.
