As we expand our programs, we’re excited to announce a new opportunity for a dedicated Service Support Officer to join our Youth Services team. This is a unique role that offers you the chance to shape and develop the position, making it truly your own.
Reporting to the Manager of Leaving and Post Care Services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the seamless operation of our programs by providing vital administrative assistance.
This part-time, fixed-term position will run until June 2027, offering flexibility with two days a week or a mix of half-days. You’ll be required to work across both our Plympton, and Hindmarsh offices.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Providing a high standard of service delivery, responding to all enquiries (phone, email, in person)
- Liaising with staff and maintaining up to date spreadsheets and staff records to monitor compliance
- Assisting to prepare reports related to youth services, staff, and financial records
- Assisting to facilitate workshops, training, and community outreach programs for youth
- Generating supplier purchase orders and receipt invoices for reconciliation
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Certificate III Business Admin or equivalent proven experience (highly desirable)
We would also love you to have (not mandatory):
- Workshop facilitation experience
- Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable experience
- Record keeping / data management experience
