The Opportunity
Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, Mott MacDonald's Building Services team has an exciting opening for Electrical Engineers in the Brisbane or Sunshine Coast office. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Australia.
We have secured a significant pipeline of work on some of the largest projects in Australia in the Buildings market and we want you to be a part of this exciting growth. Not only will you have the chance to work on groundbreaking projects, but you'll also enjoy the beautiful landscapes and rich history of QLD's coastal capital.
In collaboration with the project team, you will:
- Managing and delivering projects in a timely and technically competent manner
- Coordination of MEP design disciplines with Structural, Civil and Architecture while producing high quality designs
- Preparation of calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports
- Lead electrical and multidiscipline project teams
- Provide Mentoring and technical support to the electrical discipline
- Assist with the development of technical standards and design excellence
About You
RPEQ with degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant tertiary qualification in related discipline
5+ years of local experience in the QLD market with knowledge of Australian electrical engineering design standards, codes and practices
Knowledge of Defence standards with an understanding of multi-disciplinary requirements of Defence projects in feasibility, preliminary and detailed design
A history of completing building services projects successfully
Able to develop and implement processes and procedures
High level of organisation and the ability to communicate/liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, clients and contractors
- Excellent time management skills, setting priorities, planning and organising
