The Role - Senior Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale, complex engineering and project execution initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who thrives on managing multidisciplinary teams, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional project outcomes.
As a key leader within the business, you will oversee projects from initial handover through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with quality, safety, and commercial objectives.
What You'll Be Doing

Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex engineering and project execution projects.

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve key milestones and deliverables.

Proactively manage project risks, issues, scope changes, and stakeholder expectations.

Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required.

Manage contracts, variations, extensions of time, claims, notices, and commercial obligations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Champion safety, health, environment, and quality standards across all project activities.
About You
You are a highly capable Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering major engineering projects in challenging environments. You bring strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to confidently engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
We would love to hear from you if you have:

15+ years' project management experience delivering complex engineering projects.

Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies, engineering processes, and project controls.

Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and commercial outcomes.

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.

Experience administering contracts and managing project change processes.
Desirable Qualifications & Memberships

Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline Desirable

Project Management certification (PMI, AIPM, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) desirable

Engineers Australia membership

Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
