About the Role
Join a specialist team supporting one of Defence Bank's unique retirement savings products.

As an RSA Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in administering Defence Bank's Retirement Savings Account (RSA) product, ensuring transactions, reconciliations, reporting and member enquiries are managed accurately, efficiently and in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and our external RSA administrator, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the RSA portfolio, maintain strong compliance and data integrity standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness. You'll also provide clear and factual information to members regarding RSA features, processes and requirements, helping deliver a high-quality member experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex processes, has exceptional attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering accurate outcomes in a highly regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
Processing RSA transactions including contributions, rollovers and withdrawals.
Completing reconciliations and maintaining high levels of data accuracy and integrity.
Managing reporting requirements, including weekly, monthly and year-to-date reporting.
Responding to member enquiries via phone and email in a professional, compliant and member focused manner.
Explaining RSA product features, processes, documentation requirements and timeframes in clear and simple language.
Supporting regulatory and legislative obligations relating to Retirement Savings Accounts.
Working with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth day-to-day administration.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and operational efficiency.
About You
What You'll Bring
You'll be a highly organised banking or financial services professional who enjoys working in a structured environment where accuracy, compliance and member outcomes are critical.
We're looking for someone who brings:
Experience within banking, financial services or a related regulated industry.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex administrative processes accurately.
Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with members over the phone.
An understanding of compliance, risk and regulatory requirements within financial services.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Hold current Tier 1 RG146 certification, or be willing to obtain certification with Defence Bank sponsorship.
