About the role
Working from our Chullora Distribution Centre, our cold chain network delivers to approximately 2000 customers in the Sydney area and 3000 in the northern regions including southern QLD operating 6 days per week. The Chullora Distribution Centre ensures our multiple 3rd Party Logistic providers offer a high-quality service, delivering on time and in full.
As the Network Coordinator, you will monitor and control the transportation and distribution of Bega products necessary to meet business needs whilst maximising efficiency and minimising costs. Tasks involve managing the administration and day-to-day logistics, evaluating different transport options, analysing the optimal number of trucks / containers needed to transport product shipments based on the required schedule, and reviewing and improving processes and procedures relating to product distribution, cargo composition and storage.

This role is based in Chullora and operates during standard business hours, Monday to Friday. The position offers flexible start and finish times, with four days per week onsite and one day working from home. There will be some travel between three sites, all in Western Sydney.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all transport related activities by acting as the key point of contact for 3PL operations and internal sales teams
Collaboration to ensure strong partnerships with key stakeholders including manufacturing, sales and wider logistics team
Support delivery of network efficiencies, partnering with logistics team, network partners & suppliers to drive project objectives.
Development and coaching of DC team members as well as ensuring collaboration with onsite transport team
About you
Strong understanding of logistics networks, including transport and warehousing
Possess exceptional customer service skills and have a collaborative approach to enable you to effectively build critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in managing facilities and contractor management is preferred
Eagerness to learn and develop into this role and beyond
Good IT skills, preferably have experience in SAP, CRM and TMS.
