About the Role
The Cloud Solutions Consultant is responsible for supporting the design, implementation and ongoing support of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for FUJIFILM MicroChannel customers. The role works closely with Business Applications, Systems and Managed Services teams to deliver secure, scalable and commercially practical cloud solutions that support standalone Azure requirements and complement Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations. This includes involvement in Azure data, security, integration, reporting and platform services, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL and related Microsoft cloud technologies. The role may be based in Sydney, Melbourne, the Philippines or Thailand and will collaborate with regional delivery teams and customers as required.
What You'll Do
- Work under the direction of the Cloud Team Lead to scope, design, implement and support Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for new and existing customers.
- Assist in understanding customer business requirements, technical environments, security needs and success measures to support fit-for-purpose solution design.
- Support Azure solution activities across data, reporting, integration, security, monitoring, governance and platform services.
- Assist with solutions involving Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Azure Storage and related data and analytics services.
- Support secure cloud design practices, including identity and access management, role-based access, conditional access, private networking, key management and monitoring.
- Work with Business Applications teams to support Azure services that complement Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations.
- Assist with integrations between Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIs, Microsoft Graph and approved third-party systems.
- Collaborate with Systems and Managed Services teams to support Azure operations, monitoring, governance, automation, cost management and managed service transition activities.
- Prepare and maintain clear documentation, including solution notes, technical estimates, implementation plans, operational procedures, support handover material and risks or assumptions.
- Maintain current knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and related Microsoft cloud services relevant to the role.
What You Need to Succeed- Previous experience in a consulting, cloud engineering, solution delivery, technical support or managed services role within a software, technology or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, preferably including Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, data integration, reporting, monitoring, governance and security services.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, ERP, CRM or business application implementation environments is desirable.
- Experience with cloud security, identity and access management, networking, backup, disaster recovery or operational support practices is desirable.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are desirable, such as Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Database Administrator, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer, Power Platform or Dynamics 365 certifications.
- The employee is expected to obtain and maintain relevant Microsoft Azure certifications as required by the role and agreed performance objectives.
