About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented team player to join our Product team. You'll gain exposure across the full breadth of the product function, from new product development through to supply chain, production, and retail/distribution, working closely with the wider team to support projects from concept through to delivery.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build broad product development experience within a fast-paced, collaborative team, with genuine opportunities to grow as you develop your skills.
This role can be tailored to suit experience level with a clear pathway for growth.
Responsibilities:
New Product Development

Support the Product Manager and Product Coordinator across the end-to-end product development process
- Maintain and update project timelines, track milestones, and escalate risks or delays
- Maintain product specifications and documentation across multiple platforms, keeping the team informed of key changes
- Manage the sampling process (tracking, reviewing, feedback, approvals, and filing) with both the internal team and manufacturers, ensuring stage gates are followed
- Compile and present pricing for new projects, and provide feedback on supplier performance
- Liaise with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and testing labs to gather samples, pricing, and technical data
- Support regulatory compliance by preparing labelling and other approval documentation
- Assist with the safety and quality program, including batch retention, product testing, and pre-shipment inspections
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Operations, R&D, Creative, Marketing, Retail, etc.) to keep development on track
- Communicate project updates and key product information to relevant stakeholders.
Supply Chain & Production

Vet and onboard new suppliers in accordance with selection criteria
- Maintain and follow up on supplier documentation (onboarding forms, certifications, audits, product testing)
- Flag quality or performance issues and work with the Product Manager on corrective actions
- Place Purchase Orders and rework requests, maintaining associated specification documentation
- Monitor production, shipment plans, costs, and deliveries to keep the finished goods schedule on track, updating relevant teams on changes
- Liaise with suppliers on production matters, troubleshooting to minimise delays and alerting stakeholders where needed
- Review pre-shipment inspections and mark inventory as ready
Retail & Distribution

Support retailer and distributor requests
- Coordinate with manufacturers to implement retailer-specific product or packaging requirements
- Partner with the Retail team to improve processes and operational efficiencies
- Work closely with the Retail team to manage timelines, specifications, product samples, and range review requests
Systems

Set up and maintain master data across systems including PLM, Alfresco, Brandfolder, Google Sheets, GS1, and Asana
- Create, present, and maintain costing sheets for products, marketing projects, and point-of-sale materials

- Strong project management and organisational skills and able to work independently, multitask, prioritise, pivot, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
