12-Month Fixed-Term Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our high-performing Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
About the Role
As a Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reconciling insurer bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Preparing month-end accounting reports.
- Reviewing and processing premium refunds and claim payments.
- Documenting Finance procedures to support consistency and best practice.
- Contributing to Finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the Head of Policy Administration Finance with the development of insightful Power BI dashboards and management reporting.
- Identifying opportunities to automate existing processes using modern finance systems and technology.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Finance or Accounts role.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using Power BI for financial analysis and reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including documenting processes and creating process flow charts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
