We have an opportunity to join our Children's Contact Centre as a Program Support Lead to cover at maternity leave contract until 15th February 2027 on a part-time 0.8FTE basis at Christies Beach.
As a Program Support Lead you will support children and families to engage in safe, structured and positive contact arrangements following separation. You will work closely with the Coordinator to ensure the smooth day to day operations of the service, providing hands on case management, facilitating supervised visits and supporting families with complex needs.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Providing case management and direct support to parents and children, including facilitating supervised contact visits.
- Conducting intake interviews, assessments, and risk assessments to ensure safe and appropriate contact arrangements.
- Supporting families experiencing challenges such as mental health concerns, drug and alcohol issues and parenting difficulties.
- Assisting the Coordinator with reporting, scheduling, and broader program functions.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood or related discipline.
- Experience in family support, case management or program coordination within a child and family setting.
- Strong understanding of family law and issues impacting separated families.
- Well developed communication and organisational skills.
- Experienced using record keeping systems and ability to maintain data.
