Join our Defence Team

We have a dedicated Defence Team that provides a variety of services to the Defence Maritime Industry. Our team of specialists partner with our clients to implement sustainable, pragmatic and tangible solutions to complex problems.

The role

We are seeking high performing Engineers and/or Maritime Technicians with experience in Defence Maritime Systems to join our dynamic Defence team in Sydney.

In these roles, you will contribute to improving Defence operational capability through the provision of engineering services to our Defence clients.

Key requirements of the roles include:

Qualifications in engineering (electrical, mechanical) with the ability to gain appropriate industry accreditation.
Working within a project team to deliver maritime engineering services to improve the operational effectiveness of Defence maritime capabilities.
Experience in the maintenance of Defence maritime systems.
Understanding engineering requirements to provide advice on practical solutions to complex engineering problems.
The ability to lead and manage the delivery of Defence maritime projects.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Experience with Defence writing standards and technical documentation requirements.
Due to the nature of our client and projects, it is mandatory that you hold (or will be able to obtain) a current Australian Government security clearance (AGSVA) at Baseline level or higher and be eligible to access information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

About you

You will possess knowledge and experience in the maintenance of Australian Navy ships and Navy engineering practices and have the eligibility to hold engineering delegations.

You will be an experienced engineer with a drive to deliver projects successfully and solve problems for our clients. In addition, having experience in maritime ILS will be desirable.

Furthermore, you will be team-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to apply proactive and critical thinking whilst developing your consulting career. What is important is that you will bring a tenacious attitude and have alignment with our company purpose to “Make Everyday Better”.
