About the Role:
We currently seeking a highly analytical and customer-focused professional to join our Customer & Market Compliance team as a Customer & Market Compliance Analyst for a 12-month role.
This role will coordinate regulatory activities, oversee IT system minor enhancement delivery, improve customer data and deliver actionable insights. This is a dynamic opportunity suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across data, systems, and stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity for business analyst or compliance professional to gain exposure working towards ensuring regulatory compliance, while driving meaningful improvements in IT system minor enhancements, customer data, and coordination of regulatory activities.
The base location of the role is flexible across our network depots/offices but there will be the need to travel to our Melbourne CBD based office regularly for operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse data, systems, processes and opportunities for compliance and customer improvements
- Identify, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT system minor enhancements to improve compliance and customer outcomes
- Coordinate regulatory activities and processes to ensure adherence to compliance obligations, including risk management and business continuity planning
- Perform customer data cleansing to drive customer data quality improvements

Experience and knowledge we are looking for in a potential candidate:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, accounting, economics, statistics or equivalent practical experience is desirable
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and work autonomously
- Experience in business analysis, including facilitating workshops and gathering requirements
- Experience and understanding of IT system enhancement processes
- Experience or interest in Oracle SQL database and query writing
- Proven ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear recommendations
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for improving customer outcomes
- Highly desirable: knowledge of customer and electricity industry market systems including Salesforce, CIS O/V, SAP IS-U and supporting electricity industry market systems.
