Full Job Description

As a Junior Buyer, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operations, growth and strategy of the Health and Beauty category. Your role will be responsible for buying a range that meets the needs of our customers and is leading within the Travel Retail market.

What you’ll be doing:

Developing existing supplier relationships resulting in sustainable and profitable growth
Grow and develop new areas of business identified as strategic growth opportunities.
Meet KPI’s relating to Sales and Profit, inclusive of margin and supplier income.
Identify market trends by researching current trends and competitor activity.
Analysis of historical statistical data: reviewing sales, profit, stock-turn, markdowns, subclass and supplier performance.
Maintain collaborative relationships with stores through regular visits and contact.
Maintain and develop strong internal stakeholder relationships

What we are looking for:

A results driven mindset with a focus on meeting targets.
The ability, energy and passion to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Proven experience as a Buyer’s Assistant/Admin
Previous retail buying experience within a fast-paced environment highly regarded.
An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market information.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
