Full Job Description

Australian Country Choice is seeking expressions of interest from motivated and capable employees who are interested in progressing their careers into the role of Leading Hand – Cold Stores . This is an excellent opportunity for employees who consistently demonstrate leadership, accountability, and a commitment to ACC's four core pillars: Safety, People and Culture, Customer Service, and Operational Excellence .

About the Role:

Reporting to the Cold Stores Supervisor, the Leading Hand is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and support to the Cold Stores team while ensuring operational targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and supporting team members to achieve daily production and operational objectives.
Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture.
Coordinating workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity.
Ensuring compliance with quality, food safety and Company procedures.
Providing coaching, guidance and on-the-job training to team members.
Assisting with inventory management, product movements and dispatch activities.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Previous experience within Cold Stores or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded.
