About the Role:
Reporting to the Cold Stores Supervisor, the Leading Hand is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and support to the Cold Stores team while ensuring operational targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting team members to achieve daily production and operational objectives.
- Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Coordinating workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, food safety and Company procedures.
- Providing coaching, guidance and on-the-job training to team members.
- Assisting with inventory management, product movements and dispatch activities.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
