As the Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with operational leaders to provide commercial and financial insights, oversee end-to-end finance processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll influence decision making, optimise financial performance, and drive continuous process improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Commercial Support
-
Partner with Construction Leads and Managers to support project delivery, financial performance, and forecasting.

Develop a strong understanding of the Joint Venture's operating model, commercial drivers, and contractual requirements.

Provide financial insights, performance reporting, and analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and support decision-making.
Financial Management & Reporting

Lead monthly project forecasting and collaborate with Project Controls to review forecast accuracy.

Deliver timely month-end reporting, financial analysis, and performance insights.

Manage end-to-end finance processes for Project Reporting including project setup, claim preparation & submission, invoicing and revenue collection ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Process Improvement & Governance

Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.

Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance standards, and contractual obligations.

About You
Experience & Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar role within construction, infrastructure or asset maintenance environment.

Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.

CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly regarded.

Strong experience using SAP or Oracle ERP systems.

Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end finance processes, including project costing, claims management, billing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.

Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and analysis.

Experience with project cost control and forecasting is highly desirable.
