We are seeking to appoint a full-time Area Manager who is driven by the desire to develop great leaders, deliver exceptional retail experiences and make a real difference across our NSW stores.
Our ideal candidate

Extensive and progressive multi-site retail management experience, ideally within fashion, specialty retail or a customer-focused environment.

Proven experience leading, coaching and developing Store Managers and retail leadership teams.

Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse business performance and translate insights into clear actions.

Passionate about creating a high-performing, inclusive and customer-focused culture.

A confident and engaging leader who can inspire others and drive accountability through effective coaching and communication.

Strong understanding of retail operations, workforce planning and delivering operational excellence across multiple locations.

A natural relationship builder who can effectively partner with Support Office teams and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead and coach Store Managers to deliver sales, profit, productivity and customer experience targets across your portfolio of stores.

Partner with the District Manager to develop and execute commercial strategies, initiatives and growth opportunities across the area.

Conduct regular store visits and business reviews, using financial, operational and customer insights to identify opportunities and drive performance.
-
Build a high-performing, engaged and inclusive team culture that reflects LS&Co. values.

Develop Store Manager capability through regular coaching, feedback, performance conversations and development planning.

Identify high-potential talent and support succession planning and the development of future retail leaders.

Partner with Human Resources throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations matters.

Drive operational excellence and ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, compliance and customer experience standards.

Optimise store productivity through effective workforce planning, labour management and roster utilisation.

Champion exceptional Fan Experiences by coaching Store Managers on selling behaviours, customer engagement and service excellence.

Ensure successful execution of product launches, campaigns, promotions, visual merchandising standards and seasonal initiatives.

Protect company assets and ensure adherence to security, loss prevention, safety and compliance standards.

Monitor business and operational performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing action plans to address opportunities.

Partner with Support Office teams including Human Resources, Finance, Planning, Visual Merchandising, Payroll and Operations to deliver business outcomes.

Share customer, store and market insights with the District Manager and relevant stakeholders.

Support the implementation of new systems, processes and strategic initiatives across the retail network.

Encourage best-practice sharing and collaboration across stores to drive continuous improvement.
