THE OPPORTUNITY

Ready to get stuck into work that keeps the community running?

We're looking for experienced and safety-focused Experienced Operator Technicians to join our team on the South East Water network in Dandenong South, VIC . In this hands-on role, you'll be on the front line maintaining critical sewer infrastructure, responding to blockages, completing programmed maintenance and supporting emergency works across the network.

Operating specialised jetting, vacuum loading and combination trucks, you'll tackle a variety of tasks including sewer cleaning, wet well maintenance, confined space entry and non-destructive digging. No two days are the same, and you'll be part of a supportive crew that takes pride in delivering essential services safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Working within a 24/7 maintenance environment, you'll have the opportunity to build your skills, take on varied work and play a vital role in keeping South East Water's network flowing.

This role requires flexibility to participate in rotating shifts and an on-call roster to support emergency response and after-hours maintenance activities.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CHECKS

Current Driver's Licence (MR/HR Licence highly regarded)
White Card
First Aid Certificate
Working at Heights Certificate (Desirable)
Confined Space Certificate (Desirable)
High Pressure Water Jetting Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Hold full working rights in Australia

ABOUT YOU

Experience in sewer maintenance, blockage response and sewer cleaning operations.
Skilled in operating high-pressure jetting equipment, vacuum systems and combination jet/vacuum trucks.
Experience with NDD, hydro excavation, wet well cleaning, PCB cleaning and confined space work is highly regarded.
Strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance and quality outcomes.
Reliable team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify asset defects, complete accurate documentation and work independently in the field.
