Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

Provide comprehensive administrative support, serving as the central point of coordination for office-based activities across the plant, facilitating smooth communication between departments.
Assist the Plant Manager in budget management, plant hire equipment tracking, and inventory balance reporting to support effective financial oversight.
Oversee staff timesheet submissions into the payroll system, manage relationships with labor hire agencies, and handle payroll approvals and invoice reconciliations to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Manage the plant’s purchasing needs, including materials, resources, PPE, and equipment, ensuring all procurement activities comply with national purchasing standards and corporate policies.
Supervise the maintenance of site accreditations and ensure the plant's compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, driving continuous improvement in safety standards.
Act as the administrator for safety and environmental systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company safety standards to maintain a zero-harm environment.
Coordinate third-party facility management and vendor relationships to ensure the effective functioning of external service providers and smooth day-to-day plant operations.
Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive financial, personnel, and business information, maintaining high standards of data protection.
