Join our Perth based Opticomm team at Uniti Group as a Project Coordinator, where you'll assist in managing the rollout of initial design and estimates through to completion of Opticomm Fibre-to-the-Premises projects. This role requires in-depth knowledge and outstanding project coordination skills to effectively plan, organise, and control projects within the State. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the Project Team in reviewing designs, plans, and as-built documentation
- Work with the Project Team to create purchase orders, receipt of invoices and track expenditures
- Review invoices, contractor claims, and financial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate permit applications, approvals, and compliance with local regulations, maintain accurate records of project documentation and audit reports
- Assist the Project Team to ensure practical completion of projects across the portfolio on time and on budget
- Support the Project Team in managing the deployment and rollout of infrastructure to support Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) in Opticomm communities in the portfolio
- Oversee quality assurance of construction works undertaken by subcontractors
- Manage fault rectification on Opticomm residences and infrastructure
- Interface with developers on project specifications and timing
- Ensure Health, Safety, and Environment requirements and policies are met across Opticomm's construction division
- Assist the Project Team in managing ongoing resource requirements in the region
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet project outcomes
- Develop relationships with subcontractors
- Provide regular reporting on projects to Opticomm management
- Interface with developers and their consultants on project timing and deliverables

Essential Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within the telecommunications construction industry in a project coordination role
- Formal qualifications in project management or leadership are advantageous
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements for project works
- Experience with GPON Networks, including Pit and Pipe, Fibre, and Equipment components
- Strong logistics management skills
- Proven leadership qualities to support Project Managers
- Excellent planning, organisation, and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel for project tracking
- In-depth understanding of project management processes, construction details, and industry regulations
- Extensive experience managing full life cycles of large telecommunications projects
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and remain driven to succeed
