Lead digital workplace transformation in a global investment organisation

Currently undertaking a major cloud and digital workplace transformation, the organisation is modernising its technology landscape while maintaining enterprise-grade service, security and governance.
Your Role Reporting to the Digital Workplace Lead, you’ll work closely with technology leadership, business stakeholders, project teams and vendors to shape priorities, deliver modern workplace solutions and drive adoption of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform capabilities.
This is a senior contract role for someone who blends deep Microsoft expertise with strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with the Digital Workplace Lead and Business Solutions leadership to define priorities, delivery roadmaps and KPIs
- Act as a trusted advisor across Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Teams and the Power Platform
- Engage directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and identify automation opportunities
- Design and deliver intuitive, user-centric solutions using out-of-the-box configuration, low-code and AI-enabled tools
- Build solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Power Pages, AI Builder and Power FX
- Analyse business processes to identify gaps, efficiency gains and automation opportunities
- Contribute to governance standards and the Digital Workplace roadmap
- Collaborate with Project Managers on delivery objectives, milestones and resourcing
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure strong service levels and value
- Support Agile delivery and established project governance frameworks
- Identify and manage technology risks in collaboration with the wider team
- Ensure high-quality delivery through testing, documentation and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- Formal qualifications in IT or equivalent industry-recognised certifications
- 10+ years’ experience in IT roles with deep, hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform
- Proven experience advising, designing and delivering enterprise digital workplace solutions (not just supporting)
- Strong understanding of the Azure ecosystem , including Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated success deploying Teams, SharePoint Online, Power Apps and Power Automate at scale
- Experience working in Agile environments within structured governance frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver under pressure
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A collaborative, client-focused approach with meticulous attention to detail
