Full Job Description

Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across their two largest regions NSW/ACT and QLD. This is a significant milestone for our business and our enduring 80+ year relationship with the Australian Defence Force.

We’re inviting applications to join our workforce in Gallipoli Barracks, Brisbane as an Admin Coordinator. We’re committed to building a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute.

Please note this is a 12 month contract.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

Provide administrative support to Base operations including reporting, correspondence, and record keeping.
Coordinate meetings, agendas, and minutes, tracking action items to completion.
Arrange and manage supplier invoices, goods receipting, and other finance administrative duties.
Maintain document and data accuracy in systems such as Objective, GEMS, and INX.

What You’ll Bring

Knowledge of administrative procedures, office systems, and record management processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience in an administrative coordination role within a corporate or operational environment.
