About the Position
Due to internal movements, an opportunity has arisen to join our team at the Jellinbah mine site.

We are actively seeking an experienced Bench Assistant / Blast Crew to work a 7/7 day shift only roster.

Core accountabilities include:

Carry out loading explosives and priming of blast holes
Dipping of blast holes and recording of information accurately
Delineation of active blast loading areas
Safe and efficient operation of duties
Carry out pre-starts on equipment
Regularly carry out workplace Take 5’s
Conduct bulk product quality tests as required
Attend toolbox discussions
Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment

About you
• Demonstrated experience working in the drill & blast industry

Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency
Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised
Good communication and interpersonal skills

What you need
• Current open C class drivers licence (HR licence desirable)

National Police Clearance (Less than 3 months old or willing to obtain)
QLD Security Clearance for handling explosives (or willing to obtain)
Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
