Position Summary

Responsibilities:

Complete assigned projects in a timely manner
Actively contribute to the ongoing software design and development process of the department.
Assist in the development of any technical strategies as required.
Write clear, well-commented code and verify that completed code performs as expected and the design is fully implemented.
Review all completed tasks with quality, consistency and performance in mind.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of the platform hardware, libraries, development environment, tools, and utilities.
Support existing customer (hardware & software) systems

The successful candidate will have:
Experience:

Experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, WCF, MVC and Kotlin
Experience with Entity Framework Core using SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
Familiarity in front-end development using modern Angular frameworks, with strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work after hours when required
Professional interaction skills with internal and external stakeholders
Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work effectively in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated experience with Agile software development and methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Education

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field

Years of Related Experience

Minimum 1+ years' experience in software development within a commercial environment
