We are seeking a Case Manager who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims from inception to finalisation in accordance with both relevant regulatory and AAL requirements. The role will be responsible for maintaining a focus on strategic collaboration and case management, to maximise return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants.
The successful applicant must reside or be willing to relocate to the Northern Territory.
About the role
- Manage claims for individuals injured in motor accidents in the Northern Territory on behalf of MACC (Motor Accident Compensation Commission). We are specifically looking for a candidate to manage claims for some of our more catastrophically injured claimants within the lifetime care team.
- Maintain a focus on strategic collaboration and case management at all times to maximise return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants
- Make key liability decisions
- Build effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders including legal representatives, medical professionals and rehabilitation providers to drive successful outcomes
About you
- Proficient in understanding and applying legislation
- Quick learner who thrives in dynamic environments and works effectively as part of a team
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accuracy and precision in all responsibilities
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
