Full Job Description

We’re looking for reliable, hands-on candidates to join our team as Cleaners/General Maintenance Team Members. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys keeping things running smoothly, and wants to be part of a supportive, fast-paced environment.

We have a range of locations - Birkdale, Capalaba, Cleveland, Tingalpa and Wynnum West. We are looking to fill several positions across our McDonald's Restaurants and have the following positions available:

Full Time - Monday to Friday 3am daily (can be flexible for right candidate with start time between midnight and 3am/finish between 8am and 11am)

Part Time - Saturday and Sunday 3am - 9am

Part Time - Saturday to Monday 3am - 9am

What you’ll do:

Maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness and appearance, both inside and out.
Take care of minor repairs, equipment cleaning, and general handyman tasks.
Keep the carpark, gardens, and outdoor areas safe, tidy, and welcoming.
Support the team by maintaining the dining area, restrooms, Playland, and other facilities.
Follow all safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and secure environment for customers and staff.

What we’re looking for:

Someone proactive with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
A team player who takes initiative and pride in their work.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic handyman or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).

120% Penalty Rates also apply between 7pm and 7am weekdays and all day Saturday. 150% Penalty Rates Sunday. 250% Public Holidays. All rates outlined in the Miscellaneous Award 2020.
