We’re looking for reliable, hands-on candidates to join our team as Cleaners/General Maintenance Team Members. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys keeping things running smoothly, and wants to be part of a supportive, fast-paced environment.
We have a range of locations - Birkdale, Capalaba, Cleveland, Tingalpa and Wynnum West. We are looking to fill several positions across our McDonald's Restaurants and have the following positions available:
Full Time - Monday to Friday 3am daily (can be flexible for right candidate with start time between midnight and 3am/finish between 8am and 11am)
Part Time - Saturday and Sunday 3am - 9am
Part Time - Saturday to Monday 3am - 9am
What you’ll do:
- Maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness and appearance, both inside and out.
- Take care of minor repairs, equipment cleaning, and general handyman tasks.
- Keep the carpark, gardens, and outdoor areas safe, tidy, and welcoming.
- Support the team by maintaining the dining area, restrooms, Playland, and other facilities.
- Follow all safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and secure environment for customers and staff.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone proactive with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- A team player who takes initiative and pride in their work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic handyman or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).

120% Penalty Rates also apply between 7pm and 7am weekdays and all day Saturday. 150% Penalty Rates Sunday. 250% Public Holidays. All rates outlined in the Miscellaneous Award 2020.
