Our work spans retail, hospitality, offices, and operational facilities, with a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and long-term client partnerships.

This role is based in SYDNEY and surroundings, you'll be part of a nationwide business, supporting commercial maintenance and fit-out projects delivered to a high professional standard.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance / Handyman who enjoys variety and is a positive, driven individual wanting to work within a growing business.

This position offers stable Monday to Friday

This is a field-based role, working across commercial and retail sites, supporting both planned maintenance and fit-out works. No two days are the same, but the standards are always high. Our goal is to deliver both employee satisfaction and outstanding customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

\u2022 Position best suited to a candidate living in Sydney
\u2022 Position best suited to someone with trade experience
\u2022 Fulfill the role as a site installer/site supervisor and carry out maintenance tasks

\u2022 Managing the day-to-day requirements on site and working with the Maintenance Manager and Coordinators to complete maintenance tasks and minor works projects.
\u2022 Reporting each job/project and completing the project lifecycle where applicable
\u2022 Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Directors to grow the Project and Maintenance Departments
\u2022 Assist with the requirements of each maintenance and minor works project from receiving direction from the client, engaging our contractors and reporting the outcome and issues directly to the client.
\u2022 Assisting projects managers with any administration requirements of projects
\u2022 Carrying out tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager and Project Managers
\u2022 Support retail and commercial fit-out projects, including minor installations and finishes
\u2022 Perform carpentry, patching, fixing, adjustments, and general handyperson tasks
\u2022 Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner
\u2022 Conduct preventative maintenance to help keep sites compliant and operational
\u2022 Monitor product standards and implement quality control measures and program
\u2022 Read basic plans, scopes, and instructions accurately
\u2022 Maintain safe work practices in line with WHS requirements
\u2022 Communicate professionally with site contacts and project teams
\u2022 Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean, organised, and compliant

About You

We're looking for someone who:
\u2022 Has experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or carpenter
\u2022 Holds a Certificate III
\u2022 Is self-motivated and possesses a strong work ethic with excellent time management skills
\u2022 Is well presented, punctual, and efficient
\u2022 Is confident working across commercial environments
\u2022 Takes pride in neat, high-quality workmanship
\u2022 Can work independently and manage their day effectively
\u2022 Has strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
\u2022 Is reliable, professional, and safety-focused
\u2022 Communicates well with clients, supervisors, and team members

Licences & Requirements

\u2022 Current Driver's Licence - essential
\u2022 Certificate III - preferred
\u2022 Carpentry / Handyman experience - essential
\u2022 Working with Children Card - required or willing to obtain
\u2022 White Card - required or willing to obtain
