About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Cyber Security Engineer (IAM) to join Super Retail Group's Cyber Security team. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities across the Group, ensuring team members have the right access to the right systems at the right time.
As a subject matter expert in IAM, you will work across a diverse technology landscape, delivering secure and scalable identity solutions, integrating enterprise applications, and supporting governance, risk and compliance objectives. The role plays a critical part in protecting SRG's systems while enabling business productivity and growth.
This role is based at our support office in Strathpine, Brisbane, and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
Please note that this position requires on-call availability. The successful candidate must be willing to respond to urgent issues that may arise outside of regular working hours during scheduled on-call periods.
About you
We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with demonstrated experience in Identity and Access Management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hybrid role that combines operational support with project delivery. You will translate solution designs into practical outcomes, working alongside partners and project teams to implement new capabilities while ensuring the ongoing stability and effectiveness of our environment.
The role requires strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, influence decision-making, manage expectations, and navigate complex technical and business requirements.

Experience with cloud service providers (CSP) is essential.

Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies and identity federation protocols, including SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC) is essential.

Experience designing and implementing Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) is essential.

Experience with Application Programming Interface (API), REST, SCIM, etc. is essential.

Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions is preferred.

Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) is highly desirable but not required.

Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is highly desirable but not required.
