Administration Assistant / Receptionist – Part-time
About the Role:
We are seeking a part-time Administration Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. The role is a frontline, initial contact position providing a welcoming introduction to people accessing Cyrenian House services. This person performs duties that are consumer focused including maintaining records, reception, and telephone systems.
The position is part-time, working 40 hours per fortnight and will be located in Broome. The position is a level 2/3, $79,917 – $93,086 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation.

Cyrenian House is a leading not-for-profit non-government organisation that has been operating within the alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment sector since 1981. Cyrenian House provides a wide range of high-quality treatment services that make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by alcohol and other drugs.
To be appointed / successful in this role you will require the following key qualifications, skills and experience:
- Diploma in office administration, business administration certificate, or equivalent qualification and/or experience.
- A welcoming, person-focused manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including telephone and face-to-face interactions.
- Sound written communication skills, with experience in minute taking.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Effective organisational skills, particularly in regard to filing systems, appointment management and administrative resource management.
- Well-developed computer skills including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Effective time management skills.
- Current National Police Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s Licence and full Work Rights.
