About the Opportunity
The paediatric occupational therapist is responsible for providing support to children aged 0-18 years and their families/primary carers to optimise their child’s development. The position works within a multidisciplinary team providing assessment, treatment, and recommendations to support community-based, NDIS and private participants with a range of developmental and learning disorders.
You will also be supported by our senior therapists who work in the same clinical area, ensuring you are successful in your role.
The position provides an opportunity to work full time or part time, from home, in the community or for some connection from one of our vibrant hubs which are always full of clinicians collaborating, learning, and connecting while working towards common goals and supporting one another.

Your role as a paediatric occupational therapist at KEO, includes the following:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services, to help participants optimise their independence and quality of life.
- Assess community-based participants with a diverse range of disabilities relating to physical, cognitive, or sensory impairment.
- Deliver therapy and manage your own caseload of participants whilst being supported by an exceptional clinical excellence team.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and produce quality reports for submission to funding bodies such as the NDIS.
- Participate in regular and structured 1:1 clinical supervision
- Opportunities to attend internal and external professional development to support clinical knowledge and career progression.
- Attend weekly team huddles, discipline specific and multidisciplinary case conferences to share learnings amongst the team.
- Work alongside a team of multidisciplinary therapists, drawing on additional skills and knowledge to support participant outcomes.
- Connect with highly experienced therapists both within the same clinical scope and alternate scopes of practice.
- Mentor graduates and early career clinicians by sharing your knowledge.
- Opportunities to access weekly clinical support huddles outside of 1:1 supervision to support learning and growth.

Skills and Experience required:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent/higher)
- 1-2+ Years Experience as an Occupational Therapist with some experience in paediatrics
- Registered with AHPRA
- Police Check
- Driver’s License and Car
- Working with Children’s Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
