As our portfolio continues to grow, we're seeking a commercially minded Analyst to provide the financial and commercial insights that support critical investment and business decisions
This is an opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from development and financing through to construction, operations and portfolio optimisation, while partnering with experienced leaders across the business.
About the Role
As an Analyst, you will support the evaluation, execution and management of investments across Aula Energy's existing renewable energy portfolio and future growth opportunities. You will play a key role in financial modelling, valuation, transaction execution, commercial analysis and portfolio performance monitoring.
Working closely with Development, Delivery, Asset Management, Commercial, Finance and Technical teams, you'll provide rigorous analysis that helps drive investment outcomes, portfolio value creation and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain detailed financial models for renewable energy projects across development, construction and operational phases.
Undertake valuation, scenario and sensitivity analysis to support investment and asset management decisions.
Evaluate investment opportunities through commercial, strategic and market analysis.
Support equity and debt financing activities, including lender due diligence and funding structure analysis.
Assist with commercial, technical, financial and legal due diligence processes.
Support portfolio and corporate valuation activities, including KPI and performance monitoring.
Analyse operational and development asset performance and contribute insights that enhance long-term value.
Contribute to investment committee papers, board reporting and shareholder presentations.
- Leverage AI tools and digital capabilities to enhance the speed, quality and rigour of financial modelling, analysis and reporting
About You
You are a highly analytical professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial judgement and a genuine interest in the renewable energy sector. You enjoy solving complex problems, working with data and collaborating with stakeholders to influence key business decisions.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Approximately 2-5 years' experience in renewables, energy, infrastructure, project finance, investment banking, institutional investment or a related field.
Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities, including discounted cash flow modelling.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with complex financial models.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
