As a Finance Officer in the Home and Community team you will play a key role in managing financial tasks including processing payments, reconciling accounts, and addressing creditor queries to ensure accurate financial records.
The role is Monday- Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm with the opportunity to work a day from home after training.
Responsibilities include:
- Process invoices for suppliers, associated entities, and third-party providers.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into financial systems.
- Assist with invoice reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Respond to supplier, customer, provider, and internal stakeholder enquiries.
- Escalate complex issues and discrepancies when required.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support billing, claiming, reconciliation and reporting activities.
To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in transactional finance and invoice processing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks accurately.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with financial or operational systems.
