As a Finance Officer Accounts Payable, you will play a key role in managing financial tasks including processing payments, reconciling accounts, and addressing creditor queries to ensure accurate financial records.
Responsibilities include:
- Handles Accounts Payable duties including data entry, creditor reconciliations, and addresses creditor queries promptly to ensure accurate financial records.
- Processes payments via cheque, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)/Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and receipts, and performs daily bank account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Prepares and processes customer billings, manages direct debits, lodges Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) submissions and processes funding reconciliations to ensure proper financial management.
- Reconciles General Ledger accounts and supports the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss Statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have:
- Certificate IV or Diploma required; Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience in financial account management in a large multi-site organisation
- Strong knowledge of Financial Account Management, Accounts Payable Knowledge, Australian Good and Services Tax (GST) Requirements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is preferred.
- Excellent Communication, Adaptive Thinking, Customer Experience and Planning and Prioritisation skills.
