About the Role

As part of our Hydraulics Department, you’ll work closely with experienced tradespeople on a variety of tasks, including forklift operation, sandblasting, painting, equipment preparation, and light mechanical work. This is a fast‑paced, high‑performing workshop where safety, quality, and teamwork come first.

Roster:

5 days on / 2 days off
2 weeks dayshift / 2 weeks nightshift
10 hour shifts plus 30 minute unpaid meal break

What You’ll Do

Safely move components using a forklift
Sandblast hydraulic components
Paint and shrink‑wrap parts to quality standards
Assist with maintenance and minor repairs of the sandblast unit
Clean, prepare, and operate moving components
Work independently with strong attention to detail
Promote and contribute to a strong safety culture

What You Bring

Previous experience as a Trade Assistant
Forklift licence (essential or willingness to obtain)
Dogging certification (highly regarded)
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Great communication and the ability to work well in a team
Experience using safety and risk assessment tools (e.g., JSAs, Take 5s)
