Lead the development of nursing knowledge, clinical capability and confidence through education, coaching and mentorship.
Design, implement and evaluate innovative education programs that support workforce development and excellence in patient care.
Champion evidence-based practice, clinical standards and continuous quality improvement across the unit.
Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive learning culture and support staff at every stage of their professional journey.

You are a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in acute medical and/or renal nursing and a genuine commitment to clinical education. You thrive on supporting others to succeed, using your knowledge and experience to build capability, confidence and excellence in nursing practice.

You will bring:

Demonstrated experience in acute medical and/or renal nursing, with a passion for staff development and lifelong learning.
Proven ability to develop, deliver and evaluate education programs that enhance clinical practice and professional growth.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to support nurses at all stages of their careers.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
The ability to identify learning needs and implement practical, evidence-based education strategies that improve patient outcomes.
A collaborative, approachable and enthusiastic leadership style, with a commitment to fostering a positive team culture and supportive learning environment.

Selection Criteria

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). A post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
Give a brief overview of what education training and clinically relevant experience you bring with you to the role?
Describe a clinical education initiative you have developed or implemented within an acute healthcare setting. What was your approach and what outcomes were achieved?
Provide an example of how you have supported staff to improve clinical practice, competence, or confidence within a multidisciplinary team environment.
