About the Opportunity:
As a Service Technician, you will provide professional support to our customers through mechanical troubleshooting, overhauls, repair, service and reporting of spark ignition natural gas engines, compressor and controls issues. Your innate ability to produce high volume, quality output, coupled with a natural ability to build meaningful relationships are key pillars for success in this role.
Your day-to-day includes:
· Perform timely and efficient mechanical troubleshooting, repairs and service to customer equipment in remote environments.
· Provide clear accurate technical advice and economical solutions to challenges in the field including assisting clients with maintenance strategies to improve reliability of plant and equipment.
· Provide clear and concise reports on work completed in order to indicate to the customer work performed and any future work or process recommendations.
· Maintain a high level of QHSE awareness sand encourage participation among fellow employees in the assessment of risks & monitoring the progress of HSE performance. Immediately report all Health, Safety and Environment incidents to your manager.
· Maintain company tooling and equipment on site and in the workshop to an above average standard of use at all times.
· Assist with the identification of continuous improvement opportunities and participate in the development and implementation of solutions.
· Equipment failure analysis and reporting.
· Ability to multi-task and work autonomously.
· Accept responsibility for your workmanship and the development of positive customer relations.
· Demonstrate a willingness and capability to perform other duties as deemed appropriate and consistent with your professional qualifications, skill or experience.
