Full Job Description

We are seeking expressions of interest from high-performing law students graduating in 2028 or beyond to join our Casual Paralegal Talent Pool in Melbourne.

As part of our Paralegal Talent Pool, you may be contacted for short-term assignments across our legal teams. Assignments can vary in duration, ranging from one-week projects through to several months, depending on operational requirements.

These opportunities provide valuable hands-on experience and exposure to a professional legal environment while offering flexibility around your university commitments.

The day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Conducting legal research and analysis
Reviewing and organising legal documents
Drafting correspondence and basic legal documents
File and matter management
Assisting solicitors and legal professionals with case preparation
Providing administrative and project support

About You

To be eligible for our Paralegal Pool, you will:

Be currently studying a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor
Have an expected graduation date of 2028 or later
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Be able to manage competing priorities and work independently
Have a genuine interest in developing your legal career
Be confident using the Microsoft Office suite
Have a proactive, can-do attitude
