The Opportunity
Our Cavan branch is seeking a driven and customer-focused sales professional to join our high-performing team as a Customer Support Representative. In this role, you will promote our market‑leading products and services across the premium Hitachi and Bell product range, while building strong, long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with customers
- Undertaking machine inspections to check for damaged or worn componentry
- Promoting Hitachi’s parts and service solutions to achieve budgeted sales targets
- Identifying opportunities for business growth and developing strategies to increase parts and service sales
- Efficiently managing and expanding a portfolio of existing and prospective customers
- Operating within a customer call cycle and preparing tailored parts and service quotations
- Ensuring all customer and internal stakeholder interactions are conducted professionally and followed up in a timely manner
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous sales experience (desirable but not essential)
- Proven mechanical and technical understanding of earthmoving and construction equipment
- A relevant mechanical or electrical trade qualification would be highly regarded
- A genuine commitment to delivering Hitachi’s promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
- A motivated and ambitious approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required
