About the Role
Fixed term Part time 1 day a week commitment, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated all-rounder who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service to the community. Working within the emergency services sector, you will be part of a positive, supportive and close-knit team while gaining valuable experience across administration, customer service and inventory management functions.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

General administrative and office support duties.
-
District stores and inventory management duties including ordering, stock control, receipting incoming goods, picking and packing outgoing items, labelling and tracking stock movements.

Manual handling tasks including lifting items greater than 15kg.

Preparing documents including letters, memos, reports, presentations, minutes and briefing notes.

Minute taking, diary management and meeting coordination.
-
Coordinating meetings including scheduling, agenda preparation, venue bookings and catering requirements.

Records administration and data entry.
-
Database and systems coordination.
-
Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes and coordinate purchasing requirements.

Maintaining and updating stores and financial information within CFA systems including SAP and RMS.

Accounts payable administration.
-
Building effective working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
-
Participating in Incident Management support roles appropriate to experience and qualifications.
About You
You are enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn, with strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment and be comfortable managing a variety of tasks.
Previous administration experience is desirable, and experience with stores, warehousing or inventory management functions would be highly regarded. You will also demonstrate:

Experience working in the public sector and exposure to SAP finance systems would be advantageous.
